The Mink! 3D Makeup Printer

Hope you have had a lovely weekend!

Today I bring you some big big news. Next year, it's going to be launched in the market a device called, the Mink, that will print your makeup in any kind of colour that you desire. 

Can you believe this?

You can choose any colour online or in other environments, take a picture, send it to photoshop, and reproduce it in the form of eyeshadows, lipsticks,...

The founder of this little wonder is Grace Choi. And the price? Expectations point to 200dolars for machine. 

What do you think about this machine? Would you buy it? Or would you think it's going to be like that bread machine you thought you would use, but actually only used it once?

I still have mixed feelings about it but, I have to say it's an incredible thing.

Hoje trago-vos grandes notícias. No próximo ano, vai ser lançado para o mercado um produto chamado Mink, que vai imprimir a vossa maquilhagem nas cores que quiserem.

Acreditam nisto?

Podem escolher qualquer cor on-line ou de outros ambientes, tirar uma foto, mandar para o photoshop, e reproduzir em formato de sombra, baton,...

A fundadora desta pequena maravilha é Grace Choi. E o preço? As expetativas apontam para 200 dólares por máquina.

Que opiniões têm sobre esta máquina? Comprariam? Ou pensam que seria como aquela máquina de pão que compramos e achamos que vamos usar, e afinal de contas só usamos uma vez?

Ainda tenho algumas dúvidas quanto a este assunto, mas devo dizer que acho incrível.

Eyelash Enhancer by Realash

Hi Party People!

Yesterday when I got home I had a package waiting for me! Love presents!

This is an eyelash enhancer by Realash. I never tried anything similar, so I'm really excited to try it. My lashes are long but they are not thick at all. So this is the product for me.

The brand says that it makes lashes longer, thicker and darker. Don't we all want that?!

You have to apply this product directly to the skin of the eyelid, similar to a liquid eyeliner, before you go to bed. Continue to do this for three months.

And that's what I'm going to do. 

I'll do a video on Monday applying the product and will update you on the results.

Ontem quando cheguei a casa, estava uma caixa à minha espera! Adoro presentes!

Recebi um potenciador de pestanas da Realash. Nunca experimentei algo similar, por isso estou muito entusiasmada. As minhas pestanas são longas, mas não são densas. Por isso este produto é mesmo para mim.

A marca menciona que o potenciador torna as pestanas mais longas, densas e escuras. Não queremos todos isso?!

Têm de aplicar este produto directamente na pele da linha de pestanas como um eyeliner líquido, antes de dormir. E continuar a fazer isso por 3 meses. 

É isso mesmo que vou fazer.

Vou fazer um vídeo Segunda a aplicar o produto e vou-vos actualizando com os resultados.

Help Me! New hair color? New hair style?

Today is a decision day! This year has been one of the most important years of my life so far, so it's time to make some style changes. 

My makeup has evolved to a strong eyebrow, nudes and golds on the eyes, smokey eyeliner, pink gold cheeks and red or nude lips. 

So now let's evolve the hair. But what to do? Do you have any ideas? I would really appreciate if you could tell me your opinions.

How to Prepare for an Important Meeting?!

Hi Party People!

Today it looks like Winter came and knocked at my door! I want the Sun so bad again...

This year I've been having probably the most important meetings of my life. And it's been one after the other. So I had to quickly adapt to a "meeting" mode. 

I learned a few things that I think are important to consider. 

A) Confidence is the most important element when you go to a meeting. Prepare everything that you need so you can reduce the chance of having any doubts. For me it's super important.

B) Prepare your makeup, hair and total outfit the night before the meeting. Have on your desk all your makeup products and hair products. And in your chair, the outfit. Specially if you have an early meeting. For your makeup and hair try to wear something that you feel represents your personality. But also something that you can adapt quickly, like neutral colors. 

C) Also don't forget to plan all your travels the day before. And go at least 30min before the time you are supposed to leave your house. You never know what can happen and those 30min extra can really save your meeting.

D) If you don't have a car and have to use public transportation, you should have a pair of tennis shoes in your bag. In my case I always use a backpack, so I can carry as much things as I can.

E) Don't forget your products to retouch the makeup and fix your hair in case you need it. Also, bring a healthy snack with you. Having a meeting with an empty stomach is always a bad idea.

Coachella Festival Inspiration

Hi Party People!

I'm a huge fan of Summer music festivals, and I make sure to go to at least one every year, in Portugal. This year I want to go to one outside Portugal. In Europe. Any ideas?

I just love the vibe of the music, the sand, de sun on my face, the long nights, the relaxed style, and so on. I wish my life would be a permanent music festival. I would love that!

Coachella, is an american music festival, in California. It has different types of music, several stages, and a deep cultural feeling to it. It is also full of celebrities, if that is something that could interest you.

I don't know if I will ever go to this festival, but I sure like the style of clothing I see represented there.

So please Summer, come quick. I need my vacations!

Não sei se alguma vez irei a este festival, mas gosto mesmo do estilo de roupas representado lá.

I'm sorry for not posting since Wednesday, but I've worked so much this week that I just wanted to rest.

I love the idea of giving "life" to a cartoon. Who doesn't want a little bit of magic in their lives?  

They are not the most affordable item in the market. But if you want to spoil yourself why not? I would!

I moved to another house so I haven't been posting regularly because of that. But now that everything is calmer I will start doing the posts every day of the week!

My Lady Gaga Fame fragrance, is almost finished, so when I heard that Chloé was launching a new fragrance I was super excited!

I always love the packaging that Chloé does, so feminine and soft. And the fragrance See by Chloé is no exception.

It's floral and fresh, just the way I like it! Now I just have to try it! Can't wait!

A minha fragrância da Lady Gaga, está quase no fim, por isso fiquei super entusiasmada quando soube que a Chloé estava a lançar uma nova fragrância!

Sempre adorei o packaging da Chloé, tão feminino e suave. E a fragrância See by Chloé, não é a excepção.

É floral e fresca, mesmo como gosto! Agora só tenho de a experimentar! Mal posso esperar!

Review: A No (for now) for Colour Renew Conditioner by John Frieda

Hi Party People!

Today I bring you a review of a hair care product: Colour Renew Tone-correcting conditioner from John Frieda. 

I have been bleaching my hair for a while now, and it still has a very strong yellow colour. Instead of the more light blonde that I wanted.

To try to avoid this, I bought this conditioner that has a lilac colour to it. But I'm not seeing a lot of results, even after using it for weeks. Yes, the hair is softer, but I still see a very dull colour. 

The brand says that you should start with the shampoo from the same brand and also colour renew. So, I'm going to buy it and combine the two. With that said, I'm not ready to give up on the conditioner just yet. Because at least my hair is softer. And I love the smell. 

The cost is 5.99 pounds at Boots, for 250ml of product.

Hoje trago uma review de um produto de cabelo: o condicionador Colour Renew Tone-correcting do John Frieda.

Tenho andado a descolorar o cabelo à algum tempo, e ainda tem uma cor muito amarela. Em vez do loiro mais claro que queria. 

Para tentar evitar isto, comprei este condicionador com cor lilás. Mas não estou a ver muitos resultados, mesmo depois de várias semanas de uso. Sim, o cabelo está mais macio, mas ainda consigo ver uma cor muito aborrecida. 

A marca aconselha o uso do shampoo da mesma linha e também colour renew primeiro. Por isso, vou comprá-lo e combinar os dois. Dito isto, ainda não estou pronta para desistir do condicionador. Porque pelo menos o cabelo está mais macio. E adoro o cheiro.

O custo são 5.99libras no Boots, por 250ml de produto.

A Portuguese Love Affair

Hi Party People,

How was your weekend?! Mine was very introspective! It was good to think about life...

On Friday I was walking around a street close to Hoxton station, and I saw a store with the name: Portuguese Love Affair! Of course I had to go in.

It's a very small store, full of color, and with the most cute and adorable things. Food, jams, clothes,... If it's portuguese they have it!

But the best thing was the costumer care. Dina was so sweet and nice. 

I have to go back and restock my portuguese soul!

Na Sexta-feira estava a andar por uma rua perto da estação de Hoxton, e vi uma loja com o nome: Portuguese Love Affair! Claro que tinha de entrar.

É uma loja pequena, cheia de cor, e com items super adoráveis. Comida, compotas, roupa,... Se é português eles têm!

Mas o melhor da loja é o atendimento ao cliente. A Dina é tão querida e doce.

Tenho de lá voltar e abastecer a minha alma portuguesa!

How was your weekend? I saw a wrestling match live. Can you believe that? It was amazing!

Today I want to show you a trend for nails for this Spring/Summer 2014. The use and abuse of primary colors. 

A few years ago I didn't really saw many people using strong yellows, or blues, but now, it's the opposite. But now there is an embrace of the "look at my nails" trend, and everything that has to do with strong colors.

5 Tips on How Not to Give Up

Hi Party People!

It's Friday! :D Yeah! What are you going to do tonight?

Time and time again, people ask me for advice, mostly about how can I be so positive, and also how I manage to not give up when things are going in the wrong direction. 

So I decided to do this post, because beauty is not only about makeup, but about what is inside you.

So here are my 5 Tips to make you going:

1. Organize your month, your week, your day! Sleeping late, getting lost in funny Youtube videos, going into a relaxation period that was supposed to last one day, and it lasts 5, are all things that sound so good. The problem is when reality hits you and, you discover that the time you spent "relaxing" took you away from your goals. And then that feeling of regret takes over your mind and you go deeper and deeper into a non productive phase. So take a day of your life to write down what are your goals and desires. And then establish daily objectives to work on those goals. Writing makes everything more real, and if you have a deadline to achieve something, your mind will push you to do what you need to do.

2. Learn how to take a No! One of the things that people tell me all the time is that they want to give up on a goal they have, because they can't deal with others saying No to them. This happens because No, isn't just a word, it's a negative feeling. But the truth is "No" has the meaning that you want to give it. People that are successful, manage to take a "No", as just a word. They know that the road doesn't stop there, they just have to adjust their strategy. Don't take the "No" personally, it happens everyday, and to every single one of us. Take the "No" as fuel to motivate you, to be more creative and resourceful. 

3. Rise above the negativity! Party People, let me tell you this is not an easy one, but we can do it! At my age, I analyze my life and I start to filter quicker and better who is good for me, who is going to help me be a better person, and who is going to pollute my mind with negative thoughts. It's really important to surround yourself with family and friends that support your objectives and give you the motivation you need when your feeling down. But, sometimes you can't escape listening to comments that make you feel demotivated. When this happens step away from what is causing that to you. Because if it is, you just shouldn't be around it. Then look yourself in the mirror and start remembering all that you planed and the road you walked so far. And smile! You will feel better!

4. If it was easy then everybody could do it! Your plans might be simple, or complex to achieve. But the road is going to have a few bumps. I can assure you of that! So do a Plan B, C, D,... And if all fails, sit down and rethink your strategy. You could find easier ways to achieve your goals, so be creative and get together with creative people.

5. Relax! You deserve it! Sometimes things are not going the wrong way because you have a bad plan. They are going that way because you are tired, exhausted, and need to relax a little bit. So exercise, go out with your family and friends, eat your favorite dessert and sleep. The next day, you will wake up with a different perspective about things.

So, Party People, don't give up on your dreams! Use every energy you got to be happy!

Review Nivea Skin Conditioner

How was your weekend?!

Today let's talk about a skincare product that I was really excited about. The skin conditioner from Nivea.

We all had the problem of feeling lazy and not want to apply body moisturizer after the shower in the morning.

This product resolves that problem. The skin conditioner is a moisturizer, that you can apply during the shower and wash it of just with water. Super easy and simple!

And it does work, you can feel your skin softer and with a lovely smell. But to those who have really dry skin, this product it's not for you. Because it doesn't moisturize deeply. But for those that have oily and normal body skin, it will be perfect.

The only downsize is that 250ml of product, it's not enough. You do have the tendency to use a lot. 

But, I will still buy it, because it's so easy to use, and the Pampering Honey one smells divine.

The price at Boots is: 2.37 pounds. Very affordable.

Como correu o vosso fim-de-semana?!

Hoje vamos falar de um produto de cuidado de pele pelo qual estava muito entusiasmada. O condicionador de pele da Nivea.

Já todos tivemos o problema de nos sentir-mos preguiçosos e de não querer aplicar hidratante de corpo depois do banho de manhã.

Este produto é para resolver esse problema. O condicionador de pele é um hidratante, que podem aplicar durante o banho e retirar apenas com água. Muito fácil e simples!

E realmente funciona, vão sentir a pele mais macia e com um cheiro maravilhoso. Mas para aqueles que têm a pele muito seca, este produto não é adequado. Porque não hidrata em profundidade. Mas para aqueles que têm pele oleosa e/ou normal, vai ser perfeito.

A única coisa que não gosto é que 250ml de produto não é suficiente. Há tendência para usar imenso produto. 

Mas, mesmo assim vou vomprar, porque é fácil de usar e porque o de Pamparing Honey tem uma fragrância divina.

O preço no Boots é de: 2.37 libras. Muito acessível.

The wedding season is just around the corner, so I want to give you some inspiration for your wedding dress and makeup. 

If I ever got married, I would stay away from white wedding dresses. Not that I can't see the beauty in it, because I can, but the truth is I like color. I like glamorous but also edgy. 

You could go simple yet sophisticated, like a detail of black, or dive right in and choose a full Red dress for your big day. I would probably go for the detail. 

But one thing you should have in mind, is how to connect the makeup with the dress. Because, when it's a white dress, you can use all types of makeup, but with color, you have some things that will go better then others.
